Praying for Persecutors

The first mention of prayer in the New Testament is an injunction to pray for those who persecute you. Praying for those who have hurt you takes your relationship with God to an entirely different level. It affords you an opportunity to look honestly at the hurt and anger you feel, and to be realistic with God about the offenses that were committed against you. God never expected you to pretend that something bad didn’t happen.

Praying for those who persecute you also allows you to examine the reasons that you might hesitate to hand that hurt and anger over to God. This is a place of honesty and truth. As you are honest with God, He can help you comprehend the freeing truth about your situation. Free from bitterness, you begin to see your persecutor through God’s eyes. You can pray that he or she will come to that same place of freedom that you have found, so that everything that was wrong can finally be set right.

Lord God, when I think about those who have hurt me, I…

This came to me on a day I needed it the most. I was feeling so bitter, upset and hurt. I’m not the type of person to get attached, but I have a lot of feelings and when I get hurt, I hold on to it like it’s my best friend. That feeling that never wants to let go of me. It’s horrible. I hate it. Instead of me handling it over to God and letting it go. I hold on. By doing what this lesson teaches me to do, I can start to comprehend the true freeing of the truth. If I get realistic with the truth, praying for those that has hurt me, it will take my relationship with God to an entirely different level. A superior level where I’ve never been before.

Making a Difference

Your prayers for cities and nations are never wasted. You never know whose life you will change forever through prayer. The first example of intercession in the Bible is Abraham negotiating with God on behalf of the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. “If you find ten righteous people in Sodom,” Abraham asks, ” will you save the city from destruction?” What was Abraham thinking? Rather than focus on everything that was wrong, he looked for that sliver of hope, that opportunity for God to intervene.

In the same way, as you look around you, find opportunities for God to show up. Pray for His intervention in schools, governments, media, entertainment, families, churches, and businesses. The chaos in our world has a solution: the God who listens to and answers our prayers. The change that’s needed might come through your prayers. You may never run for president or own a business or make a movie, but your influence can be felt everywhere if you are willing to intercede.

To be honest, I no longer watch the news. I don’t watch television. It’s not a part of my life anymore. Although I read about it on the media. It still doesn’t make me want to watch it. I still pray for our Nation, Schools, President, Hospitals, prisons, and families around the world. I have rested all the caused and chaos of this world in God’s hands.

My Review __ The Alina Skin Care Vitamin C Serum is THE BEST FORM OF VITAMIN C AVAILABLE; it has the most AMAZING SCENT FROM NATURAL EXTRACTS. It is loaded with powerful antioxidants to help prevent premature aging of skin, including Vitamin C, green and white tea, and vitamin E.

I have used this product 2x a day every day since the day I got it. That’s about 3 weeks. I think it was a short time for the visible results I got. I read many reviews on this product and I read a lot of negativities about it. People saying that the company basically paid for those reviews. Well, yes, I got the product for free, but the results and my opinion, no one can make it up. It’s honest. I wanted to come here and write an honest review. Pray Aloud

There is a time and a place for silent prayer ___ in a library, on a bus, in school, and in many other settings where talking out loud to God might not be appropriate. But praying aloud should be part of your daily routine if at all possible. Speech helps to clarify and solidify your thoughts. A great time and place to pray aloud is when you’re home, in your own room alone. But, since cell phones with Bluetooth devices have become popular, it’s common to see people walking down the sidewalk in an animated conversation with someone that isn’t physically present with them. You can pray aloud in public, and most people will assume you’re on the phone.

Praying aloud is a great way to experience God more completely. Vocalizing your prayers also gives you practice for those situations where you might be called upon to pray for someone else. If you’ve never prayed with your voice before, the hardest part is getting started. Go ahead, give it a try! You’ll do just fine.

I love making and eating this soup

Vegetable and Noodle soup

ingredients:

3 potatoes.
1 Zucchini
3 Carrots.
1 Onions.
1 tomato.
1 Bell Pepper.
2 Tablespoons margarine.
2 cloves of garlic
Pasta and salt.

Way of preparing:

Sauté the onions and garlic on the margarine. Cut the vegetables into pieces put in the pan, with a pinch of salt, stir-fry; Put water up to cover the vegetables, cook for 5 minutes; break small pieces of pasta and add to pan cook for 11 minutes.
Your soup is ready.

Celebrating God’s Presence

Suppose you had the opportunity to sit down with Jesus Christ in the flesh and talk with Him about anything you wanted to talk about. You could ask Him any questions, discuss any topic, share any stories, consider any plans, laugh at any jokes for as long as you wanted. What kind of time limit would you want to have imposed on that meeting?

Being free to take time to celebrate God’s presence is a wonderful privilege. Some people can afford to spend an hour or longer in prayer each day. Some cannot. But praying a longer rather than short time doesn’t make God love you anymore. God is more interested in you than He is in the clock.

He likes being with you, going to work or school with you, and joining you as you carry out your daily activities__ whether that is mopping floors, planning budgets, or reading stories to children. In the sense that God is always present, we can always be praying, whether our lips are moving or not.

Lord God, this is how I feel about spending time with you…

For the past 8 days, I’ve been doing this challenge ” Come away with me.” I’ve been feeling like I’m so close to God. When I wake up in the morning I wake with the urge to start my devoting, and I can hardly wait for night time to come so I can get started, because that’s the time when I set aside for my daily devotion. So How do I feel? Exited, great. Although physically I feel like crap emotionally and spiritually I feel great.

How to Build an Empire with this Chicken Recipe #foodie

ingredients
· 6 chicken breast fillets
· Salt and pepper to taste

Filling
· 6 slices bacon
· 6 green beans
· 1 carrot cut into sticks
· 2 tablespoons olive oil
· 1 tablespoon of corn starch
· 1/2 liter of vegetable broth
· 6 potatoes cut in four
· Chopped parsley to taste

Method of preparation

Season the fillets with salt and pepper. On each fillet, distribute a slice of bacon, the beans and carrots. Roll as Swiss roll and secure with toothpicks. In a saucepan, heat the oil and brown the steaks. Add the cornstarch dissolved in the vegetable broth and cook potatoes until tender. Place the steaks on a platter, drizzle with the sauce and serve with the potatoes sprinkled with parsley.

A Time for Prayer

Prayer is a wonderful way to start your day. For a morning person what could be better? Making prayer part of your morning routine sets the tone for your entire day. But morning isn’t the only opportunity available to you. God is always available, and you can pray anytime you want.

For example, you can pray several times a day at important transitions in your schedule, divisions punctuate your day. You may wish to conclude your day in prayer__sharing the experiences of the last twenty-four hours with Him.

Any of these options and more are available, you can decide which best fits your personality, your lifestyle, and your season in life. By setting a time and making a plan, you move from a great idea__prayer__to a great reality__a life of prayer. Your time alone with God becomes something that you look forward to and protect. By consistently connecting with God, you soul finds the nourishment it needs and the results is a richer, fuller life.

God, for me, the best time to pray is…

The best time for me to pray is usually at night when I’m alone and everyone is already sleeping. I sit on my bed start journaling, thoughts and words just start to flow out. This is my best moment when I lay it all out onto his hands.

Dear Lord,

It’s not always easy for me to know what to pray for, especially when I pray for a person or cause or situation that I do not know a lot about. Though answers may not seem apparent or issues resolved, please help me to keep my heart and mind connected to You. Guide me with Your counsel and open new doors of possibility. When life does not present easy answers or options, You always work on the situation brought before Your throne. I believe You know what is needed and I ask that You stay close and keep me strong
