Back then, this blog was simply a place to document family life, memories, vacations, and everyday moments. Over the years, it has grown alongside our family, our experiences, and now our journey building C.E. & Sons Construction LLC here in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
I decided to keep this first post as a reminder of where everything started. š
5 simple ways to remember your family vacation
After spending time and money planning the perfect family vacation, make sure you remember it. This article offers 5 simple ways to keep memories fresh long after the vacation ends.
Family vacations aren’t always relaxing, but they are filled with adventure, wonder and moments worth remembering. When you’re feeling stuck in day-to-day living, it’s nice to look back on family vacations.
From camping in the forest to playing on the beach, exploring a big city or just visiting grandma’s house, the time you spend in play as a family on vacation is precious time.
Here are five ways to make sure the perfect vacation doesn’t get forgotten.
- Take photos of the little moments, not just the big ones.
Sometimes the candid laughs, messy breakfasts, and random roadside stops become the best memories later. - Save something small from the trip.
A postcard, map, ticket, shell, or even a silly receipt can instantly bring back memories years later. - Write down one funny thing that happened each day.
The things we think we will never forget somehow become the stories we laugh about most later. - Print at least a few photos.
There is something special about flipping through real printed memories instead of scrolling endlessly on a phone. - Be present.
The best family memories are usually not about perfect plans. They come from simply being together.
